NICOLÁS CORREA SERVICE S.A., through its Department of Renewable Energy, centers its activity on the development of new technologies in the field of Renewable Energy Use.
Thus, the aim is to achieve the technological development of the company, researching and executing projects in search of energy efficiency, reduction of CO₂ emissions, sustainable development, protection of the environment, generation of employment and support for underprivileged zones.
Along these lines, this Department of Renewable Energy has been developing various projects, some centered on utilization of agricultural and forest biomass for energy, which have, in addition, received aid of various types by the Public Administrations.
Moreover, currently projects are being carried out that are centered on other renewable energies such as solar thermal energy, the utilization of residual heat in industry, etc. In all these projects and developments, the company has had the experience of the most prestigious technological centres of Castile and Leon in the area of biomass and renewable energy.
Following this line of research, development and industrial innovation, in June 2010, the Department of Renewable Energy obtained the certification of its R+D+i Management Systems according to standard UNE 166.002.
