HISTORY

Currently, there are many industrial processes in which wasted heat is generated that is not utilized and expelled directly into the atmosphere.
In order to comply with current environmental law, industries are being forced to reduce as much as possible their CO2 emissions; in addition, there is an emissions market in which this savings can mean economic, as well as environmental, benefits. If at the same time they reduce their emissions, industries can also generate electric energy, the economic benefits can be substantial.Nicolás Correa Service, S.A. aims to implement small-scale installations in the market that make it possible for industries to reduce their emissions and transform the residual energy of their processes, in an economic benefit that is both clean and environmentally friendly.
The main element of these installations will be the small-scale electric power generation unit (125 kWe gross), which allows recovery of wasted heat, transforming it into electricity, allowing self-consumption from the first kilowatt generated with direct savings in the electric power bill, thus avoiding the costly procedures of grid connection, and all with zero additional emissions.

TECHNOLOGY
The clean electric power generation unit has a high-speed turbine, with a high-efficiency power module, in a single moving part, unsealed and without gearbox. It requires a heat source under certain conditions to generate useful power to supply an electric power grid thanks to sophisticated power electronics.The system allows operation at partial load so that it adapts to the residual heat conditions at all times. This residual heat can come from a wide range of systems (motors, industrial stacks, tips, etc.)

Example of application in a biomass plant
Located at the facilities that NC Service has in Burgos, is the first installation in Spain that utilizes this clean electric power generation unit to produce 125 kWe, utilizing the heat from biomass combustion in a thermal oil boiler.
